Anyone have information on Nutripure water softener systems? We had a salesguy out last night doing his snake oil sell, showing that our water isindeed very hard (16grains) and very calcified. The price left me in a bitof sticker shock mode so I thought I'd do some research via the net.

With a family of 4 in a 3 bathroom house what things do I want to keep aneye on?

You don’t give enough info for much comment. How much do they want andfor what? If it’s only price that you’re interested in, try Wal-Mart.comor Sears for the absolute cheapest prices. If you want quality for afair price, that’s different but ya gotta drop the snake oil stuff, yergettin’ off on the wrong foot there. Softeners really work and savemoney, grief and other things like expensive plumbing fixtures, waterheaters, clothes etc. and make life measurably more pleasurable andeasier to live. If you like bragging rights and only want national brandequipment, look in the yellow pages for those names you recognize, butbe prepared to pay a premium for them.
