Anyone any idea how many drops of iodine per litre of water (and atwhat strenghn iodine) is required to sterilise water? Is it drinkable?

Answer: well call me wierd & stand me next to a striped elephant, but I'velittle problem with the taste at all. No, not to the extent of adding itto drinking water at home, but when out in far-flung places I've neverfound myself thinking "I can't drink any more of this" (my wife on theother hand will carry powdered glop to add in to try to mask the taste..).As to how much, I don't know about different strengths of Iodine butif you get a little bottle intended for travel purposes then 4 drops perlitre appears to be the going rate.
