I work for a water purification company that specializes in water purification for home and industrial use. This post is for your personal information. This post is not, I repeat, not spam! Now, on to the water. There are basically three types of purified water. 1. Filtered. 2. Reverse Osmosis. 3. Distilled and Deionzed. 1. Filtered water is basically from a municipal source that typically goes through a carbon and possibly other types of filtration media. There are different kinds of filtration media to remove different kinds of chemicals such as chlorine. However, carbon filters cannot remove (filter out) certain minerals like calcium and magnesium. One of the most common questions I get from my clients is, "don't I need these minerals for my health?" Yes, they are important. HOWEVER, the minerals like calcium and magnesium found in our water supply is from the earth's crust. WE DO NOT ASSIMILATE THESE TYPES OF MINERALS FROM THE EARTH'S
